Brett A. Austin, MD, FAAD
Mohs Surgeon and Dermatologist
Dr. Austin is a highly skilled and award-winning double-board certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon who specializes in advanced skin cancer treatment and complex reconstruction. Proudly serving Western Kentucky and the surrounding region, Dr. Austin’s practice is built on a foundation of clinical excellence and patient-focused care. He believes in keeping every patient fully informed and comfortable throughout their surgical journey, combining meticulous technique with a warm, professional bedside manner to ensure the best possible functional and aesthetic results.
Dr. Austin is a proud Bowling Green native and graduate of Western Kentucky University. While at Western, he competed on the Cross Country and Track teams, received an NCAA post-graduate scholarship for medical school at the University of Kentucky, and was Western Kentucky’s 2013 Scholar Athlete of the Year. When he isn’t at the office, you can catch Dr. Austin watching Kentucky basketball, in a deer blind, or chasing his son around the playground.
He is excited to return home to Bowling Green to serve the community that raised him. He also serves as a Mohs Surgeon and Dermatologist for Owensboro Dermatology Associates, Newburgh Dermatology Associates, and Henderson Dermatology Associates.
